Hello everyone my name is Jason Southward. I have 3 sisters Elizabeth,Laura, and Kristin, and thanks to my oldest sister Elizabeth I am also an uncle(another girl of course) so you can imagine that I am the emotional one in the band. My father is a pastor of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pittsfield IL, where I currently live. My mother is our biggest fan and helps us out alot. I love my family and they have been a great help to the success of our band. I currently attend St Louis Christian College(Adam is my roommate) and play on the schools basketball team which is a lot of fun.

  In my life there have been many things in which I have had to overcome to be able to do what I do now. I have moved many times and had to make new friends and have had to adapt to many differen't places. I have gotten in contact with the wrong crowd and done some pretty stupid things. God has shown me so much mercy and grace that I do not deserve, and with out him I would be nothing, living a wasted life. Through all of the times when I thought I was cooler than someone, or I thought I didn't need God, I have learned a valuable lesson which is true for everyone. Dont give in to the views of this world, dont try to be the coolest person at school,cause if you do, you dont realize it but you are not seeking glory for God, but for yourself. In everything we do we should give all of the glory to God.  

God calls us to be different, and to not conform to the world, and its crazy ideas, of everyone has to be this way or that way. Think about this Jesus Christ in all of his perfection, came down to this sinful, dirty, disgusting place, to pay the price for the stupid mistakes that we make everyday. So basically my story is be humble and realize that when you think you are not good enough for something. Talk to God and let Him reassure you that you are always important to Him no matter how bad or good you are at something. As the song we sing says we are always first in the eyes of God.

God is great all the time, and all the time God is great. So let Him live your life because with out him we are nothing.
